Nearly 30 Years Supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students

Heather Freeman, M.Ed., is a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and educational consultant with extensive experience supporting students in both Total Communication and Listening and Spoken Language educational settings. Her background includes direct and consultative services, collaboration with school teams and families, and leadership of a large itinerant Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program serving school districts throughout New Jersey.

Heather brings a practical, collaborative approach to her work, with a focus on understanding each student’s individual needs and helping the people who support them make thoughtful, informed educational decisions.
